Prior to forming ScrapSource, Olschwanger was the Senior Vice President of Recycling with a Fortune 500 metals company. He has over 30 years of experience in the scrap metal industry. During his career, Olschwanger’s involvement has included all facets of both operations and marketing. He brings knowledge, experience and credibility that few others can deliver. Olschwanger’s activities include extensive business dealings throughout North America, in addition to over a dozen countries across Europe, South America and Asia. Always a creative thinker, problem solver and solutions oriented, Olschwanger was one of the early visionaries within the industry in the field of multi plant scrap management programs. In addition to his professional career, Olschwanger is active in a number of professional and civic organizations, including being a member of the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations, Board Member of The University of Texas Parents Association, and a club member of AIPAC. He formerly was a member of the International Business Council of the Dallas Regional Chamber . Olschwanger, who is married with two children, was born and raised in Dallas and attended the University of Texas at Austin.
With over 15 years of experience in the scrap metal industry, Barnicle joined ScrapSource in 2010 with a strong marketing and sales background. Her professional career began with a regional sales position in the medical industry. She then went to work for a Fortune 500 metals company in Dallas and has been involved in negotiating scrap globally on behalf of various corporations. Barnicle is involved with Pearls and Pinstripes, a Dallas based organization designed to promote and benefit professional women. She also currently sits on the board for Flight the YPO affiliate for Vogel Alcove. She currently lives in Dallas with her husband and their 2 sons. She enjoys being a proud parent, golf and travel. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M Universit
Boggess joined ScrapSource in 2015 and has been in the metals recycling industry for 9 years. Prior to beginning in this industry, his professional career started with a sales and marketing position with a commercial real estate firm in Dallas. He transitioned into metals recycling by joining a Fortune 500 metals company in Dallas where he primarily focused on maintaining existing business and procuring new business from manufacturers across the southern United States. He then joined a stainless steel and high-temp alloys scrap processor in Houston in 2010, gaining invaluable experience and materials knowledge as he managed the industrial purchasing group for them. Originally from a small town in West Texas, Boggess graduated from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology, and he currently lives in a Houston-area suburb with his dog, Angus. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, concerts, shooting pool, and spending time with family and friends.
Daiker joined ScrapSource in 2015 with over 25 years of experience in the metals recycling industry. He began his career working for the Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA) as a Marketing Manager for 11 years. His primary responsibilities included purchasing mill quality scrap aluminum in North Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas. In 1999, Daiker joined a diverse Fortune 500 metal processing and manufacturing company spending 15 years as the regional scrap buyer in the company’s largest competitive marketplace of 43 locations. Responsibilities were a combination of metal procurement, marketing for re-sale and process improvement services for a wide variety of manufacturing companies. Daiker is an active member at his church and Missional Communities in Irving, Texas. Married for more than 15 years, he has two children. He is active with his son’s engineering club and in scouting, as well as a supporter of his daughter’s volleyball and National Charity League interests. Daiker and his wife are active with the American Diabetes Association and Carter Bloodcare. In his free time he enjoys golf, gardening and staying physically fit. He received a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Texas.
Miller has over 12 years of administrative and accounting experience crossing industries from automotive to environmental to scrap metal. In 2009 Miller moved from Ohio to Texas going to work for a Fortune 500 metals company in maintaining scrap relations globally. Miller joined ScrapSource in 2012. Miller is an advocate of Multiple Sclerosis as her father has battled the disease since her early childhood. She currently lives in Trophy Club with her husband and 2 cats. She enjoys baking/cooking, music, reading and travel.
